Product Details

Inspired by the posters and protest art of Paris in May 1968, the La Beauté Est Dans La Rue Tee takes its name from a phrase that turned the street into a symbol of freedom, expression, and rebellion.

During the uprising, students, workers, and artists covered the walls of Paris with hand-drawn posters, graffiti, and messages challenging the world around them. Art left the galleries and entered everyday life. Beauty was no longer something polished or protected. It could be found in the people, the pavement, the disorder, and the act of creating something of your own.

Sangre Real interprets that idea through a distressed, layered streetwear silhouette. A washed and worn short-sleeve body sits over contrasting black long sleeves, finished with scattered paint marks, distressing, and the “La Beauté Est Dans La Rue” graphic across the front.
