This piece traces back to a garment I wore through some of my earliest lessons in discipline and accountability. It was the first shirt I reached for on cold mornings, on days when motivation was low, when quitting felt easier than showing up. I wore it when I didn’t want to, when effort felt invisible, and when consistency mattered more than comfort. Over time, it stopped being just clothing and became a quiet obligation: a reminder that responsibility doesn’t disappear when enthusiasm does.
